In yet another display of youth-centred diplomacy and Pan-African leadership, Amath Ndiaye, the United Diplomats of Africa’s Head of Partnerships and Senegalese Ambassador, was an honoured guest speaker at the Nje Ya Box Youth Talk 2025, held in the heart of Tanzania.
The platform, whose name translates from Swahili as “Think Outside the Box,” brought together a high-profile audience of innovators, policy-shapers, entrepreneurs, and youth leaders to explore new ways of thinking and solving Africa’s most pressing socio-political and developmental challenges. The 2025 edition focused on bold, unconventional leadership, urging young Africans to drive the change they wish to see.
Amath Ndiaye, known for his dynamic global advocacy and unwavering belief in youth-led diplomacy, delivered an address that moved the room. He encouraged young people to see diplomacy not as a distant concept, but as a daily practice of empathy, strategic engagement, and representation.
“We don’t need to be in power to lead. Leadership starts in how we listen, speak, collaborate, and represent. The future is already watching us—and we must not whisper,”— Amath Ndiaye, Guest Speaker, Nje Ya Box Youth Talk 2025
His speech underscored the mission of UDA: building a strong Pan-African corps of young diplomats, peace-builders, and change-makers who understand both the politics of the continent and the power of its youth.
The event served not only as an exchange of ideas but as a networking bridge between the continent’s emerging leaders and established institutions.
UDA continues to take pride in placing its members on meaningful stages that reinforce the organisation’s values of advocacy, representation, strategic partnerships, and innovation. Mr. Ndiaye’s consistent involvement in such forums is testament to the organisation’s growing global relevance and impact.
