Message from the Secretary General: Introducing UDA Forums
Dear Members, Partners, and Global Observers,
It is with great pride that I introduce to you UDA Forums — an interactive digital platform dedicated to thoughtful exchange, continental dialogue, and strategic youth engagement across Africa and beyond.
In line with the United Diplomats of Africa’s commitment to inclusive diplomacy and developmental leadership, UDA Forums serves as a pan-African space for debate, reflection, and constructive dialogue on critical regional and international matters. Whether you are a diplomatic cadet, an emerging policy analyst, a civic activist, or a concerned citizen — your voice belongs here.
Each month, our Forums feature curated regional themes — covering key issues from governance, security, climate justice, innovation, and human development — contextualized within Northern, Eastern, Southern, Western, and Central Africa. We invite our members and the public to share insights, responses, and policy reflections that reflect both lived realities and informed aspirations.
How to Engage:
Read & Reflect: Each month’s discussion themes are posted on the UDA Forums site and across our social channels during the first week.
Submit Your Perspective: Use the submission portal or email us directly with your response, article, or reflection.
Join the Conversation: Engage with other members’ posts through the comments section and join scheduled dialogue threads.
Be Spotlighted: Exceptional contributions will be featured monthly under “Notable Voices,” giving contributors a chance to be recognized across our platforms.
Together, we shape a forum that amplifies African youth perspectives, strengthens diplomatic thinking, and fosters solutions for the continent — by the continent.
Let us proceed with unity, intention, and purpose.
Yours in service,
Susan Malala
